Actually, he's selling A LOT of extra accessoires with the camera, anyway the "buy it now" price seems a little crazy to me.
Honestly I don't know how much the two primes could be valued, but if they're not $ 10000 worth each, that guy is living on Mars.

Sorry everybody, but I have to write in italian.

Just my last reply about the filters' subject. Well Giovanni, "technical truth" is awesome. So you follow the technical truth in cinema? My english is bad too, forgive me. I intended to say the exact opposite of what you suggest I'm saying: I don't think there is a given truth, in cinema. ...

Fritzcarraldo, I don't think I understand what you mean by 'cleaner image'. Maybe you want to say that using filters produces a light loss: in this case you're right. It's true (even if not with any filter: the light loss due to a skylight filter, for example, is hardly noticeable...), and every pho...

Hi Marc (and Livio),
the guy with the dark coat is a young Nanni Moretti.

As for another super8 movies, I've bought a dvd containing some works of Derek Jarman (Glitterbug, Pirate Tape, TG: Psychic Rally in Heaven).
It's all shot in super8, both color and b/w.
Quite boring stuff, anyway...

"A man with a camera", by Nestor Almendros.
The best book about cinematography I've ever read.
I totally agree with you, Roger.

I think the manufacturers should add some more informations/details/pictures to their site: they don't explain too much about the magazine, or am I missing something? From that dark, small picture I can only tell that I'd need a crane, in order to operate the camera with such a monster attached on i...

If I remember correctly, I sent you a VHS cassette.
I'd like to have the final version (the edited film) transferred on it, if possible.
Thanks,
