Optical Sound on Super 8

Does any one know if exist a super 8 camera that record optical sound on super 8 film?????

My 16mm camera records optical sound on film. It uses the smaller single track; one side is flat and the other side has the spikes; a noise reduction galvanometer makes spikes going both ways; it may be wider; this single track may take up both areas??

I know Martin Baumgarten has expressed interest in doing this. I don't think any existing S8 camera can do it,

The last time this subject came up there were posted objections to sound on film for editing reasons. The sound and the picture would not be together and editing would be difficult.
They are not together on the Auricon and any shot must start and stop with extra frames to include the sound and not cut it off.
However, sound tracks were printed from mag stick on a different film and that got them apart for editing. The oldtimers told me it was a nightmare to work with. I don't have an optical sound reader but I do have a printer to make the track with and I have a mag track reader.
Seems to me, a laser could be used to make a soundtrack fit on S8 film instead of a focused light bulb and magnets that swish mirrors back and forth. Perhaps the track could be digital, too, little dots between the sproket holes? Course, you would have to want to have film prints made for projection and that wouldn't be much different from the usual ways. And digital dot sound would compute nicely!
