What does not work on youtube:

Post by S8 Booster »

a while back i got back some fabolous footage transferred by Andreas and watched on the 42 plaz. this was a mix of film material but basically i was stunned by the performance of my Canon 310XL / fresh K40.

it looks so incredibly sharp & has realy nice colours.

i wanted to try to upload some of it to youtube via direct upload from the DV camera / FW as a player.

however, it does not work - useless - at least in my case.

too bad - i thought that would preserve quality better but exactly the opposite is true.

sample - in reality remarkable low light performance from an Elmo 1012sxl / k40. sound is not autenthic.

FLV1 files from Flash C3 and quicktime are not compressed on youtube, so I read.

Try your output on this site in the link below. I put up a test movie from a digital Leica P&S D-LUX2, that is rediculously large to see the results
since Stage6.com has closed.
