hey all,

i´ve just fallen in love with my newly found camera. i got some questions, though. is it normal that in bright sunlight the electronic eye pegs the needle at over exposure? i read about a filter or something, is that an external gizmo that goes on the lenz or have i overlooked a switch (seems impossible that i would, i am so stoked about my camera i sometimes just gaze at it)? also, can i set the manual aperture by getting a reading using the e.e. and then just switching to manual and dialing the needle back to the spot that the e.e. read? thanks in advance for any input and keep shooting.
