Is K25/K40 16 mm suitable for transfer to video?

Post by Super-Swede »

I have 4 cartridges of 16 mm K25 and K40 that I will use in september and I know that it is SUPERB for projecting. But how about transfering to video?

What company in Europe will do it best?

Kodachrome is difficult to telecine well. I cannot recommend any particular company but do choose a Rank transfer if you can afford it...Scot's film "In My Image" shot on super 8 K40 looks great, obviously transferred by a company that really knows what it is doing. It can be done.
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)
