Switching carts to other cams

I'm pretty sure this is okay but just wanted to check.
It's okay to remove a cart before it's fully used
and switch to other cams for shooting, correct?

Re: Vision 200T & 500T with Canon 310XL

for the 500t a suitable filter over the lens wil set the exposure as close to 500 as you want.\ Presumably over the metering lens and not the camera lens, assuming the two are seperate. If they aren't seperate then using an ND filter won't make much difference. love Freya Actually, wouldn't it be p...

T-Scan, where's a good place to get the 500T? Haven't
seen it around much.

S8, so you say it's best to notch out the 200T cart so as to
use the cam's daylight filter. What's a good way to make
the notch? Using a tin snips, or a hacksaw blade maybe?

I just got some 200T in and noticed that they made the
cart so that the daylight filter in the cam cannot be
activated. Why did they do that? Would it be advisable
to notch the cart out so as to be able to activate the
daylight filter?

Re: Vision 200T & 500T with Canon 310XL

for the 500t a suitable filter over the lens wil set the exposure as close to 500 as you want. So you're suggesting here to use a 1-stop neutral density filter over the lens with the 500 film? And I know the owners manual recommends to use a neutral density filter over the lens when shooting 160 out...

Vision 200T & 500T with Canon 310XL

Just wondering if anyone could share any experiences with using the 310XL with these negative films? Somewhere I have read that when you use an XL shutter with the 200T that it makes it more like you are shooting a 400 ASA film. Any truth to this? And I've wondered what the picture looks like shooti...

I was offered a set of 4 or 6 reels (can't remember which) of 8mm of the movie "Deep Throat".
Wonder if that is worth any money?

Aside from sending it in for disassembly/cleaning, which probably
would cost more than buying a new lens, what would *you* do?
Perhaps 1 hour @ 200 degrees F?

I have a lens where the aperture blades are stuck. What would
be a good oven temperture, that won't
ruin the lens?
