I can't believe that out of over 100 people, nobody has anything to say. Absolutely amazing. The article is intended to promote our film, but hey, if you have nothing to say that's your business. Thanks anyways.

Timelapse 2003 Particpants - Quotes Needed!!!

Hello, With Andreas' approval, I am writing an article about Pulse of Life for LIFT Magazine (Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto). This magazine has a wide circualtion in Toronto. The film will be promoted, the 2004 project, as well as this website. The article will be about 2500 words or ...

My understanding is that you're given a few extra feet by the manufacturer just for this reason -- so that you can load and not lose actual film you intend to shoot. I have a changing bag that I use sometimes, but again...it's not really necessary in some cases. Defintely use it though when I unload...

I'm in on the second one too. For sure. Just as an aside, I am good friends with Simon (vidwerk) and let me tell you, he has been working hard at cutting the first one. I can imagine how eager all of the first-year particpants are to witness the finished product, and I can assure he is working hard ...

bombarding kodak may help in the long run, but not in the short. thanks for the advice. the room in the hotel? sounds like a less than legitimate film. :-) Actually, it was timelapse that I shot inside of a conference room over 4 hours. it was a design compeition where the audience slowly filed in a...

Thanks for your replies so far. I was shooting at a hotel, and have to return to there tomorrow...but I think I will have to break out the VX2000, as much as I loathe doing so. I tried shooting under available light, but I think it was much. much too low. I was also at a party at an art gallery, and...

Ektachrome

Sorry for posting this - I searched the forum, but didn't really find anything directly pertaining to my question. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for shooting ektachrome in extremely low-light interiors? I will have only tungesten light at my disposal, and will not really have the use of any mo...

I am in again, but I agree with Vidwerk: we should set some paramaters about what is shot. Not on content necessarily, but just generally I think. Weather was an issue for some participants last year, including me, and may be the case again, but still we need parameters I think.

I would absolutely have no problem paying a $10 memebership fee. For everything that I have learned here so far, it is well worth it. But this implies or assumes that the people I have learned from would also have no problem paying the fee. On another note, I work at a technology company in Canada, ...

In all likelihood Nick Nolte would not want that photo released, or chances are any others without his permission. It doesn't necessarily mean people or the press will abide by what is considered "legal." Tabloids are considered press, and in some cases there are special limitations on the...
