Nalcom lens adapter.

Post by Billbot »

I recently aquired a nalcom s8 cam with removable lens.

Anyone know where to get the lens adapters for different lenses? other that e-bay?

sorry if this has been discussed before.

thanks!

I'll toss this out there: I don't believe any were ever made. They were promised but never came to fruition according to the MOVIE CAMERAS book.

Sorry about that.

I have an adapter with the Nalcom 1000 which takes Minolta lenses. I have a vague impression the mount was not manufactured like this. Although it is neatly done, it may be homebrew where the mount was swapped. If that works with the backfocus...
Kind regards,

André

I stand corrected - cool...though I have a funny feeling these adapters are about as hard to find as a Beaulieu extension grip. Super cool though.

Cheers for the url check Steve!
I really must do some work on those pages, pretty crap at the moment!!!
I can vouch for the existance of the adaptor, which I bought from the Marriotts (http://www.marriottworld.com) at a later time than the camera, which was an Eb*y job.
Results with other lenes are, well, both frustrating and rewarding at the same time!
Good luck hunting!

I have one for the Olympus OM leses but it's not for sale. I found it on Ebay but I have never seen another for sale.
