Beaulieu Reverse

Post by kentbulza »

Does the 6008 allow full reverse filming in a Super 8 cartridge, or just a few feet?

As far as I know it´s only a few inches because of cartridge limitations.

Only with the 60m mag was the possibility to do a cpmplete rewind (? )

That was my thought. So the feature was really added just for the magazine? What's the difference between the S and the Pro?

With Beaulieus you had to use the backwinding feature to make a lapdissolve as well. So it was not only for the 200´ mag.
S is for sound and Pro is not. However Pro version could use the sound mag also.

S is for Sound, meaning it has an actual sound record head in the unit for use with sound film. (which is no longer made in the 50 foot cartridge size). I think Pro means that it is crystal sync capable if the Beaulieu camera has the crystal sync mod installed.
