Hi,
I have two of 50ft cartridges of Tri-X to develop so thought I'd double up the spirals and process with the Foma kit.
Is there a problem at the re-exposure stage please, seeing that the light must pass through two reels instead of one?
Many thanks,
Ric

Re: Lomo processing Super 8 Tri-X
You are supposed to take the stack of reels out and hold it to be exposed by your lightsource. In the mean time you rotate them and twist the axis.
The spirals are translucent for a reason and thus all film material will receive its dosis.

Thanks Andre,aj wrote:You are supposed to take the stack of reels out and hold it to be exposed by your lightsource. In the mean time you rotate them and twist the axis.

Yes, that's what i normally do but i have not developed a stack before.
But i find that none of my spirals' centre screws will support a stack, and the one that is long enough causes a tilt on one of the layers, making loading pretty impossible i should think - so i will probably use two Lomo's instead one after all.
Many thanks again,
Ric
