Stills from shooting a short film

Post by sunrise »

We just finished filming a short film on Ektachrome 65T. You can watch some photos from the filming here: http://flickr.com/photos/barnumz/sets/7 ... 5721/show/

It's me with the cap.

Looks like a tight little production! So, is it a mix between video and super8? I'm pretty excited to see the 6008 footage mixed in with the 1014XL-S.

Your locations look stellar. Love the track too. That looks like a sweet shot.

it is filmed entirely on film. We used video for reference and for sound recording.

Hello
It is actually 7008S on these photos.

I recently tried 6008S with standard Schneider 6-70 and it wasn't better than 1014XL-S lens. But 7008 with its awesome Angenieux 6-90 should give incredible results

It is a Canon 814XL-S. We used it for wide shots with a C8.

The 7008S has an Angenieux 6-80 lens.

Great looking location and props. I like the burnt out wreck of the car!

The car is not part of the film. It was left at the location on the night before shooting and we had to work around to not get it in the shot. Would have looked nice though, but there was no place for it in the film.

Great light. Great sky. I kept trying to stop watching the slide show but couldnt do it because the images are so compelling. Nicely done.
