Fujichrome filters?

Post by mr_x »

Hi,

is there a filter to balance out Fujichrome 'blue', if it occurs? this is not usually an issue for me, but experimenting with optical printing seems to double the 'blue effect' and i was wondering if a slightly orange filter might check this a bit?

thanks

Try a testing with an 81A or 81B filter. A Tiffen LLD filter may work
even better because it requires no exposure compensation. These filters
remove the bluish cast you speak of.

many thanks

amazed i can achieve optical printing footage which is completely synched (cameras and projector running at 18fps) but correct exposure and colour cast is still an issue.
