How cool is it that more than half of the respondents so far are under 35?
Now THIS is a useful poll. THIS is the kind of stuff Kodak should be looking at. I'd like to think that they're doing market research like this, but I'd find it REALLY hard to believe that they were and I've never seen any reference to it (considering how much time I spend in/on/around Super8 stuff)

Well check out that thread!
Yeah well, I kind of thought most of you guys where from back in the days, but we´ll see about that (above) won´t we ?
I must admit, I´m 22.
I fell for the look of film real early. Never liked the look of video. Too rough. Too real.
I chose S8 because I thought it was the cheapest film format to shoot.
Later I found out the truth. (That it´s only cheaper than 16 if you shoot K40.)
But then I was already emotionally attached to this little format and all the cool gear within it.
Right now I can´t stop thinking about a comparision of Velvia, Provia 100 and Kodaks new Ektachrome reversal stock, the 100G / GX

I'm fifty-six and kind of enjoying the experience of my atoms separating as I move back toward formlessness...yet keep spinning the bs as I did in my teens....
And I thought that label had something to do with number of posts, not age. I guess the older you are the more time you've had to post. I'm on the older side of that poll, but not over the hill. I'd guess there would be more older folks on here, but they are probably too busy getting ready to retire so they can have more time to shoot 8mm.JIM DUNN senior member wrote:....
