Kodak Listing 100D DS8/Reg 8mm

Post by T-Scan »

http://www.kodak.com/US/plugins/acrobat ... 0306_Q.pdf

Good news to see an official listing of fresh 100D for small guage. Only comes in 400ft spools with a minimun of 20 spools. But it allows other places to cut it, load it ect...
100D and Vision 3 please

Actually about $2700, if it's the same price as 16mm spools. Seems like the idea is for Kodak to get 100D into S8 and reg 8 without the risk or burden... and leaving it to smaller businesses. Maybe it's a step toward releasing it themselves, or testing the market? But I'll be happy to shoot fresh stock... Fresh S8 100D looks 16mmish (I've dealt with my share of fogged or stale stock) hopefully they will ween the 50D in eventually too.
100D and Vision 3 please

100' rolls from kodak would be nice. then again so would the ability to purchase 500t s8 at a local camera store would be as well.

It's hard to believe but here we are at the tail end of 2006 and Kodak are officially bringing out a new Regular 8 film stock (after a 15 year or so absence) - something to celebrate the new year with! :D
