Marc Ueter at Bolex International can identify authorized Bolex repair facilities in Australia. You can e-mail him through the website at

the authorised bolex agent in Aus is Gerry Leidke (don't quote my spelling, here or ever!!!). Gerry (Jerry?) works for a camera hire company in Melbourne called 'Camera Quip'. They are on Clarendon St South Melbourne.
Gerry is a real old timer. Very good repairer. Will only work on Bolex 16mm cameras - not 8mm or super 8.
I run Nano Lab - Australia's super8 ektachrome processing service

Camerquip seems a bit crazy to me for offering an Arri 16BL in their rental line up and still want to charge $180AU for it.

Then again they also want 1320AU for a Movicam!! It would be cheaper to ship one down from the USA if you have to pay that rate.

Good Luck
