Other ideas for titling, true to the S8 spirit:

1) Buy magnetic "learning-letters" in a toy store and make a titling animation ("magmation"?)on a sheet of metal, a car or the fridge. Spraypaint in one colour to make less "childlike". Or melt, or give them fur, or ...
(I really like when titles are integrated)

2) Use old types (letters) in assorted fonts and sizes from fleamarket. Fits medium really well.

... Btw. In a Dogma 95 film they filmed printet A4 sheets with credits being submerged in water in darkchamber-trays. The rolling motion of the water with the red light created a really cool effect.

ps. I co-tought a workshop at a designcollegette where the students made some lo tec motion graphics titles (in-camera edit, gonzo style, shot on DV though) Check out the Gummo one!

pps. just sitting with my new Nizo S80 (got it at around 13 USD, fixed leak in box) learning that I only have until aug 1 to empty my Kodachrome-shelve in the freezer ... bummer news ... im gonna go timelapse MAD
