K40 Processing - Nice and Clean...

Post by super8man »

No problems with my latest two sound films to come back from Kodak. (notice the brag about SOUND!). 14 days exactly on turnaround. No blue splotches or anything. The nighttime 1fps filming on my bike worked well. Also, tried out my Elmo Superwide and the B&H MS45 with CM4 - both worked and delivered beautiful results. It really is nice getting back sound film...such a shame there is almost none left now.

Just thought I would let you all know that Kodak film/processing are doing right by my estimation...

Cheers,
Michael

Thanks for the heads up- this is good to hear.

I had one roll (out of ten) that looked like the color balance shifted. It happened right in the middle of a take. The shift was towards blue, and I don't think it was clouds or anything over head. It almost looked mechanical. Who knows, made it was clouds. It was a rather long take. What exactly have you guys been noticing as far as blue splotches? Just spots of blue on the frame?

My turn around was 15 days. And I sent them to FairLawn, NJ.
