I know the film lab in Atlanta they're talking about and I'm glad they bought it. Good guys working there, dependable professionals. They were charging the same for 16mm & 35mm processing which I thought was a little strange however.

Not excited about the grainy lower resolution look.

Definitely not Kodachrome. Not up to Ektachrome 100D standard either. Maybe more like VNF 7240?

I'm pretty excited about everything else there. The look will definitely appeal to yuppies trying for something instantly stylized & "hip." Kodak was really smart to jump on her bandwagon so to speak. She's getting a lot of press at the moment.

From youtube comments section by GQ; Kodak tells us it's a mixture of 500t and 200t with a bit of tri-x. All 8mm.

I think focus is their main issue but that's most likely the look they were going for.

So the new Kodak camera requires you to manually enter in the film stock using the LCD screen and data wheel?

I guess using the notches would require more mechanical elements than they wanted to deal with. I hope they will keep the notches for all the legacy cameras...I'm sure they will...
