What about this site which seems to have all the info:

http://super8wiki.com

Making sure the wheel is not reinvented.

Thanks, David, for reminding me of two distinct Super 8 databases. The super8wiki is extensive. HTML bits and pieces of super8data.com can be found on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine,i.e https://web.archive.org/web/20141226093 ... 8data.com/

Some of the links were not archived.

What is the preference for super8data over the super8wiki data format? Can the super8data info be inserted into super8wiki?

Super8data had more flavour and colour to itself as it was the work of one owner.
So wanting to keep it alive has more to it than having the paragraphs and tables.

The lame thing is that so many link are instilled in all kind of webpages who now function as a trap to get people to the Wittner site.
Kind regards,

André

Hey all,

Thanks to the help of an archiving friend, I was able to reconstruct more than 10,000 further images and pages of the long lost super8data.com site. It's still not complete yet, but way more complete than my first attempt of recontructing it from public archives.

Have fun surfing: http://www.filmkorn.org/super8data/

Feel free to spread the word. If I find time, I will fix some more links.

This is great, I wondered what happened to all the data.

Thank's peaceman! I used to look stuff up on the site quite frequently, I'm glad it's back. Like slashmaster said, it would be nice if we could add to it, pictures, data, etc.
