I don't think this will convince anyone but the most die-hard Nixon fans that Tricky Dick was "mister good times", but the crux of this documentary (home movies and day-in-a-life at the Nixon whitehouse) looks really really interesting, and it's all on Super 8!

I think it would be very interesting to say the least. I don't think they did such a great transfer job though. Maybe the look they were going for...

Horrible transfer. In the web playback one can see frame dissolves. Yuk. And interlacing artifacts meaning the original transfer was to video rather than digital - and they didn't deinterlace the video during the transfer to digital/web. Yuk.

But otherwise interesting.

Great historical film. I like the 16mm news cameras in the background.
