Mr Edward Nowill in the UK can reperforate any 16 stock you want into Regular 8. Very cheap and serious.

Also, you can buy Vision 3 500T for R8 here:

Mr Nowill does but as recall it must be from 2 sided perfed 16mm.

But possibly there is a new machine now...
Kind regards,

André

I don't know, but a fine grain film like 200T with the stability of the R8 could be interesting... If it's available with double perforation he can do it.

Kodak sells 100T,200T,250D, and 500T in 16mm double perf. One question that I would ask Edward Nowill is which pitch is better for reperforation, as Kodak sells 500T and 250D in both .2994 and .3000 pitch.

Pitch is the distance between perforations. Kodak perfs R8 at 0.1500 inch pitch. So, I would guess that 0.3000 is perferred. 0.3000 is the pitch for high speed cameras such as those for filming rocket launches.

Long pitch (0.3000) is also used for print stocks and other lab stocks ... but I didn't know it was used for high speed film. I had noticed kodak sell some stocks in 'high speed' varieties, and didn't know what the difference would be. Cheers John,

Hi Guys
Here is some standard 8mm footage we shot with 16mm fuji 64d that we we had perforated by Edward Nowill this year. He did an outstanding job! We sent our fuji film from Australia and we had it back within 2weeks. Highly recommend him!

Thank you for the update, eskinazi.

Now I understand the purpose of that recent email received by Mr Nowill absent any message! Are you going to construct a web site for him?
