What is the cheapest super 8 film around? I don't really care if it's short dated.
Re: Film
Sure, but E-6 processing is more available worldwide

Re: Film
I have shot with B+W films and the problem has been processing. Dwayne's photo doesn't do B+W. I would have to do it myself, which I plan to do, but that's another story. If I buy bricks of super 8 from B&H would that be cheaper?

I don't understand the issue with B/W processing... there are more labs/shops out there apart from Dwaynes, all over the world, and you can buy/process your films anywhere in the planet. I buy most times online from the USA and process at Super8.nl in The Netherlands, which makes a great processing job of any film (also old ones).

Re: Film
Cost? The lab I found charges $15 a roll plus $10 shipping. It's designed for someone who's sending an entire feature film worth of super8 cartridges. Other than that the only lab I found processes in an immersion tank on a per demand basis (4 months). Does anyone know of any US based Super 8 processors? If anybody knows of good b+w processors in the boston area let me know.

Re: Film
Just FYI B/W processing is 9.80 € /roll at Super8.nl (and an excelent processing it is) which I don't find being unaffordable for anyone willing to shoot B/W... The thing is that Dwaynes is extremely cheap in E-6, so it's not realistic to take their prices as a general standard... 1 $ up or 1 $ down... this is film!
