My main source for 8mm gear has been thrift shops and eBay. I'd like to try my luck finding used gear at camera shops/fairs in either the Philadelphia/Allentown/Bethlehem, Pennsylvania area. Does anyone know of any camera shops that in the vicinity of these three cities that might have old 8mm gear lying about? How about any camera shows?
Local eBayers--people who sell "vintage" cameras and other miscellaneous "antique" items for a living--have taken over the local thrift shops. If you don't get to the thrift shop first, you lose. The only items left are the Gilbert O'Sullivan 8-track tapes.
