It uses the standard four pin 12v system.

You can find batteries just about anywhere. I can point you to a slew of them in the USA but as to Europe...Dunno. ICE in London would have them.

Good Luck

What's the full name/website of ICE in London?

Links to US companies is also appreciated.

Thanks!

Oh...

I'm assuming that it is the 16 BL and not a 35BL.

The 35BL would be 24v and whilst still having 4 pins the pins would be wired differently.

Thanks a lot!

And you're completely right, it's the the 16 BL - I forgot to mention that!

We manufacture/assemble new battery packs for the Arri BL, although there are no pictures on our website, I've often seen ones that we made on ebay adverts for complete kits. They sling over the shoulder on a strap, and are 5Ah, so they last for ages. We've sold loads of them over the years.

Do the prices on the site include VAT?

Yes, prices are inclusive of VAT. The info on the website is a little bit out of date, as our current versions are 5Ah, not 4Ah as stated.

Does anyone know if battery belts for Arri's (just in general) can be connected to the grid, and then be used as power supply for the camera? That is, simultaneously charging the battery and feeding the camera with the correct voltage/current?
