This looks cool, japanese paper/plastic educational kit to build a little film projector!

Seems to be front-lit, the 'films' are opaque! And looks like it comes with a sprocket hole punch so you could make your own!

They have up to issue 14. Which is the one before 15, the issue with the paper projector.

Perhaps not quite as flamable as nitrate film....well almost!
