excellent. i loved the way you tell the 'story'. disturbing and incoherent, just what i'd want my projects to be .
however, this project feels a bit too personal for you. as all these beautiful images just flowed by, i kind of lost interest halfway through. nothing i could really grasp on, no tension, and 15 minutes is a long time for that.
but great cinematography! please keep these coming.
(and man, you must live in some strange hippie commune to find artsy lesbians like those haha)

There are some great elements scattered in your film. Some wonderful shots, certain concepts…
However, it lost my interest by the time it ended. It needs to be more ‘resolved’ – I think can’t think of another word to describe what I mean at the moment. Either the film is too long and theme not simplified enough, or too short for what you want to say.

Bravo. There were elements I really related to. Others near the end not so much. BUT, I thought it was good. I would love to explore this type of subject further. It's very powerful in an 1980s way. But then, that's how I view the world anyway.
Cheers,

I think Ossioskari used the perfect word to define this short, with its good points and its limitations: personal. (by the way: women have secret lives, didn't you know? )
Looking at "Quinta Vita" at a distance now, shows that all of you are right: it kind of flows without giving the viewer reasons to share the pathos it was intended to give. It's like watching someone else's dream.
Anyway, IMHO, shorts are made to experiment, the challenge now is to keep good things and focus on improvement on keeping interest alive till the end. I 'm really glad that the cinematography was appreciated, it was important to give an adequate goodbye to Kodachrome.
Thank you again! I'm here for any further explanantion or discussion
