A bit OT I know, but recently I missed the new series of one of my favourite documentary directors: Adam Curtis, but was overjoyed to find some helpful pirated has already ripped it and put it all on YouTube.
He directed 'The Century of the Self' and 'The Power of Nightmares' - covering everything from free market economics, neoconservatism, Al Quaeda, Freud, game theory and more.
Your really have to see his films to believe them, they are unlike any other documentaries you will catch on tv.
Stick with it and be rewarding by one of the most though provoking documentaries ever made.

I really don't understand why the power of nightmares can not be seen in the USA, at least not broadcasted or on DVD.npcoombs wrote:A bit OT I know, but recently I missed the new series of one of my favourite documentary directors: Adam Curtis, but was overjoyed to find some helpful pirated has already ripped it and put it all on YouTube.

Definitely not the usual BBC style doco, it seems to leave more questions then answers...it's a little too deep for my taste. Guess that music video style of quick cutting keeps the viewer interested. It's very well done in a way if you are into this type of documentaries.npcoombs wrote: Your really have to see his films to believe them, they are unlike any other documentaries you will catch on tv.
