Fixing manual exposure button on my Eumig 880 (Bolex680)

The problem was this. The auto exposure setting was working fine, but when turning the button to manual exposure, the camera was still using auto exposure. A solution was presented (thanx) that I could “lock” the auto exposure using the fader switch. I was curious to see what the problem...

Thanx for your reply, Joey.

There is no writing on the lens on my 7710, so I don't know much about the lens either.
It's heavy, was easy to fix and as you say has every feature so I'm thinkin this camera wil be my new favorite.
I just need to test with some K40.

Thanks.
Knut.

Carena - Any Good?

I came across a Carena 7710-IM a couple of weeks ago in a thrift shop. Didn’t think too much of it as the lens and viewfinder was loose and it did not run. Anyway, yesterday I was back for a second look and bought it. I opened it and it turned out that a piece of plastic was wedged between th...

Hi,

What is actually the difference between the 880 and the 881?

I have a 880 and it's really a great camera.

So did my battery test button. I used to pluck apart old 35mm still cameras and on some on them you would remove buttons before removing anything else. I started out the same way on my 880 however I noticed that the battery test button is attached to the side panel and is not supposed to come off. T...

Nifty trix, thanks.
I'll try that as soon as I get the chance. it's a cool camera with many functions and in the end i'll go back inside if it turns out that the overexsposure is to bad. (have to test more (Yes!))

Could the acid from the batteries destroy the wiring or something?

My S8 Story + Eumig 880 Question

Hi all. So anyway, this is my first post ever, and this is my short S8 history. I got my first s8 camera from my mother some years ago. It was a Bauer C1 in almost mint condition. Regretfully some jerks broke in to my apartment and stole it. I miss that one. After that I’ve been through a Kod...
