Re: Simple fixed focus cameras
I have the Konica Compact wich is a tiny all metal (exept the handle) fix focus camera and it works like a charm, with bautiful results. I also find that the Eumig Nautica is very sharp and clear. It has sort of a fix focus lens with a zoom. Sharp and nice.

Re: My camera has just stopped working for no apparent reaso
Is´nt the pro like a Nizo 800? Dont think they have belts.
I had one that did what you decribe. When I took of the side panel i found that a piece of tape had come loose and was jamming some cogwheels for the motor.
Just a thought.

Re: PTC 1. The next step.
Awesome. Thanks Seth for uploading it to Vimeo. I think there are several interresting pieces there, but why did I only shoot ten secs? Strange. Anywho, it was nice to see again, and cool that this finally is finished.

Re: PTC 1. The next step.
Will someone be able to put something up on Vimeo?
This is taking me forever and besides I don't really need the "original" files. Just a viewable copy.
Really appreciate what you have been doing here though. cudos.

Re: Is this normal for 4008zmII?
As you say, aj, the 4008 battery has two voltage outputs. It sould be as you say 3.6/7.2. After 30 mins I measured approx 3.1/6.8. Then I used it again and it was 2.85/something (dont remember) I'd say this is a power issue. To verify this I made an external batterypack, and it seems to be much bett...

Re: Is this normal for 4008zmII?
Short update: The battery had been charged for approx 12 hrs. I measured voltage before I started to use it and after 30 mins there was a considerable drop of voltage. The lower voltage was about 3.1 when the batt. was left still The lower voltage was about 2.85 when the batt. had been in use. At 3....

Many thanks.aj wrote:
If you put the charger in with the battery in the camera this is far less likely to occur. Unless the charger is no good either.
I will test, with the charger pluged in later.
