Re: Nizo Pro Meter Sticking

Thanks for the response. I have tried the compressed air. I sprayed a few short bursts into where the aperture blades come out and a small opening in the galvanometer itself and this seemed to solve the problem.

Re: Nizo Pro Meter Sticking

Thank you for your response. I know it is a hard item to access maybe I can try some compressed air now that I know something in the galvanometer may be causing the problem. My camera is also sticking in manual aperture mode as well does this mean its worse? How much are people charging to have this...

Nizo Pro Meter Sticking

The past couple times I have used my Nizo Pro the meter occasionally gets stuck. It sticks anywhere between f2 and f5.6. I have to tap the side of the camera to free the needle in the view finder. It is also happening when moving the switch to test batteries. I have opened up the camera and cannot s...

Re: 100D direct from Kodak

I am a student but not a film student and they have given me the discount. They have questioned it once because my school did not appear in the list of schools Kodak has, but I told them they honored it before and they took my word for it.

Re: Light Meter

Does the Weston Master V do spot metering as well? I like the price. I am looking to get accurate reading for peoples faces as well as general lighting.

Light Meter

I am looking to get an external light meter. I am looking for one that will work for super 8 as well as standard 35mm photography. What are some good ones under 100.00 USD?
Thanks

Re: Hmmm... What interval should I use for my time lapse???

When I have been shooting time lapse's I have trusted the meter reading even when in intervalometer mode. And each and every time the film was exposed correctly. If the meter is in the red indicating underexposure then you will need to switch to auto B or a faster film stock. I think the camera sets...

Re: Hmmm... What interval should I use for my time lapse???

The Nizo Pro will work out the shutter speeds for you. All you have to do is set metering to auto and intervalometer for the frames per minute you want. And like Mike says it takes some practice/experimentation to get what your looking for.

Eumig Mark 8 Questions

I have just came upon a Mark 8 projector. I plan to use it for playback of super 8 but it is missing the spacer for a super 8 reel to properly fit on the front spindle. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?
