Wein Cells

Hi,
Do a web search for Wein Cells on Ie. http://www.google.com. These are the way around 1.5v batteries. You may also want to include PX13, PX14 and PX625 in that search.

Re: 500 pix

Edited, see, no difference. Seen this before even when no pictures were linked onto the page. Hi Vidar! Things look good now. Atleast on my computer. Did you make sure to do a real reload of the pages in your browser? shift+refresh or ctrl+r? Anyway, 500pixels is the maximum size - if it's 506 it's...

Thanks Tim for your suggestion, but I think the search option and the thing that new posts automatically bumps messages to the top is enough at the moment. Also, even though it involves a relative low level of work it's impossible to maintain this over time. The idea is to keep this site as auto-run...

This has nothing to do with browsers. The images are simply too wide.

How to include photos

Unfortunatly people haven't read what I first wrote about posting photos/images in this forum. This often leads to oversized photos screwing up the design. OK, I agree it is a bit hard to find for those who didn't read this forum from the start, but here I'll include the link: http://www.8mm.filmsho...

A good thing?

No news really, but it seems like the server can remain where it is. I'll keep you updated!

Update

The remains of KPNQwest was today bought by Catch Communications. This is probably good news. Catch wants to keep everything running and if we're lucky the server can remain online at the same location.

I'll keep you posted!

Re: How will we know of new site, server, sponsor?

When site goes down will you have a page notifying us or will there be displayed, a 404 error page? I assume, with any new server/sponsor you will still have the same URL.... http://www.8mm.filmshooting.com? Also, will all existing messages be saved or archived? Yes, I will put up the frontpage (or...

Latest update

Just been in touch with KPNQwest where all doors are now locked. I was told things would keep on running for some more days. Therefore until further notice the site will be up. However, I belive the uptime is limited to max 1 week. Also, I've been in touch with other hosting companies in Norway and ...

URGENT: SERVER MIGHT GO DOWN!!!

Due to the bankruptcy of KPNQwest Norway, the Shooting 8mm webserver is forced to be taken down sometime during the next few days. I'm working on a sollution, but it's very hard to find a company that will host the server for free (unless I want to pay $1000 a month). I will do my best to have the s...

Yes, it was shot on Kodachrome 40 and I've been in contact with one of the girls in the band for an interview. Hopefully I will find time to do it soon and publish it here on this website.
