Re: Cape town

Never seen any film cameras around. But there used to be a good place for old still equipment. And lots of retro shops.
Try contacting someone from the film school - they should know.

Re: Since we are OT...Lets talk flying.

Being colourblind eliminated any flying dreams for me...

Anyone knows any guys flying in Peru/Bolivia? I need a ride!

Re: A large bonfire at night.

You weren't, but nevermind

Watch out for high contrast. Bonfire i a very concentrated light source, that easily will loose its power once you get a few meters away.

Re: login persistence

Andreas,

This doesn't really fix the problem with staying logged in by following links in email notifications, does it?

When I click on links in emails I am not logged in. This gives too many clicks before reaching what you want to see.

But the I like the new layout!

Re: New forum software problems?

Andreas

The new look of the forum is very nice.

But, by following the link in the email notification (and generally) I have to log in each time. This is much like the vista-system, too many clicks to reach what you want to do (but that is another story).

Do you have a workaround?

Thank you.
The record company made a version with the dialogue edited out.

Re: Time Lapse - Shooting a T.V. screen

Also remember that tv screen have a very cold colour temperature. And orange filter on the screen will make it "normal" and not stand out in blue colours.

I don't really know. I'm not shure if it is part of the original setup with the mount for projectors or it was custom fitted.

It was bought together.

Make shure your camera is set to autoexposure. This will reduce flicker.
