Filmshooting

I might be shooting a promo (not porno) in a club with an 814xl-s in very dark conditions. Would 200T be fast enough?

I just watched Herzog's Wheel of Time where he showed a scene of the monks arguing and attempting to prove some theory. This must be a similar practice. Interesting little short.

Super8 is becoming hip again, especially with the MTV skater crowd.

Most super 8 cams are way soft wide open. If you don't mind b/w shoot some tri-x. It will give you a little more speed at least. Or 200t, although I'm sure buying super 8 stock (or any film stock) in PR is expensive. Or maybe not since there probably aren't any tariffs if ordering via the US.

Is the lens on the M sharper than the old grey models? Those lenses are kind of soft to me.

I figured everyone's seen it, just pretty cool how Kodak saw enough demand to cut specific sizes for it. Not too hard to do, but still cool.

I wonder if any lab would willingly make a s8 print of copyrighted material, say a hollywood film or the like. You may have to get chummy with the technician..

Alright, sounds good. I got me a good deal on a Mamiya 645 with 45mm lens on ebay so I plan to take it out for a good working over this weekend.
