Haha! I know these Volga's very well. We had lots of them running here in Belgium in the sixties. They where build like tanks. I think Poetin has one in his collection, and he is very proud of it. Yes, they look like the big Simca models from those days. Remember Lada was a copy of Fiat, too. With ...

It looks like an old Simca Aronde, from the same era. Perhaps it's partial clone ? You know, the first GAZ was a clone of T-model Ford, that's why russians copied also Volga from Ford area (Volga is bigger than Simca, but much influences from it too, ok Simca has also influences from 50's Fords): h...

Nice going on the car - what role is it going to play in the film? :)
With the name of that movie you'd get the main idea of it!

Volga will have very big role in this road movie.

It runs? Nice find. Hilarious that an electric guitar can be sold for a car ;) Not too fond of Kramers myself. Yes, it runs (have to fix brakes etc. during next winter before we'd start shooting the film). Here is a story of that Kramer Night swan-model: http://www.vintagekramer.com/night.htm I'm j...

Your footage sure looks beautiful. I can see the "tiger look" of your cat. I am curious about the diferent look of the film with these two cameras you used, at the point, I thought you used some kind of filter with the Quarz. Or is it just that this camera has the "more vintage"...

Edit: Here is that another examples containing also Quarz material: http://www.sorb-i-tol.com/foma_ds8_canon_quarz.MPG That old fashioned look is fantastic. Were you using any coloured filters for these clips? Rob No, just shot with Quarz DS-M model camera (10 m film stock) without any filters etc.

Here is my old test file where I compared pulse synced sound ( with Pedro's box and used Mattias's software) and wild sync sound from same situation. Camera was Canon 1014 XL-S, sound recorded with DAT and AKG mic, film stock K40:

Re: Frame Master

Has anyone used Andec's Fram Master for Super 8 cartidges? Do they make a real difference to registration and picture quality? I was thinking of buying one but as they are quite expensive I'd like to hear if anyones had any experiences with them before going ahead. Check these ones out: http://www....
