Re: Foma b/w chemicals
the foma reversal film CANNOT be developed as negative. if u wanna develop other neg film with the kit, skip the bleach/clean/re-expusure/2nd development. Basically u do developer->fixer.

yep, i'd better say that is about the heavy handed policy of big northern brother towards South America and the vietnam part is an allegory. But yes, it is for the same project.

Yes, i do process the film myself. Got a couple of velvia 50 from retro-8 (via wittner) for the test. i will test how long the battery goes on the ground first. To start and stop the camera, i thought about taping the trigger in ON and then have the 3V of the mains on and off using the output of the...

We shall film on the beaches, we shall film on the air...
Super8er's! Unite! We shall film with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our format, whatever the cost may be... we shall never surrender! Anyway, the topic is my single8 flying machine. I needed to do some aerial filming for the film i'm working to show a rendition ...

Anders, back on the rolls, how many are they? If u don't mind the risk of loosing some parts and if u by a e6 kit (depending on how many, 1L is enough) from tetenal (photax.se), i can develop them for you.

Re: VNF shot 7 years ago unprocessed - Worth processing?
Hi Richard, i wasn't trying to say that there's no difference but to my standards (pretty low I have to say), i cannot see a lot of artifacts that annoys me and most of the time the aging of the film produces what i am actually looking for when shooting on film. I want to telecine some ancient svema...

Re: VNF shot 7 years ago unprocessed - Worth processing?
i'll try to scan a stripe of tri-x expired in 72 and u will see how tough it is. I recently shot a short with some 4x from before the vietnam massacre and it's grainy but very cool. vnf with lower iso might have almost no change in color.

Re: Fomapan in Super 8 cartridges?
foma (and orwo) stocks of wittner are definitely not overpriced. Check the 'meterware' 290m for 83 euros. This is enough for almost 20 cartridges ! So, 4 euros per cartridge. And if you have shot foma films you will see that it's worth every euro. Orwo costs 30 euros for 60m, so 7.5 euro per cartrid...
