Re: fuji zc 1000
Hey Andre, settle down, I believe the man was just trying to help. Why are you offended? Most of the comments are not his (Hans) but Tak's (!) Since when are you refering to me as your friend in mails to others? Oh, comeon! Would you prefer to refer you as his enemy? :) I really don't know the exact...

Re: Now here is a difficult one : Fairchild professional 900
Freedom4kids, thanks! That's all I wanted to know, now it's clear! Can I ask a favour? I'm only missing the user's manual, it seems that you have it. Can you please photocopy it and send it to me? I'll pay for all expenses (and your trouble!). Scanning is also an option but I understand that it take...

Re: Custom Bolex On eBay
The price definitely reflects a collectors mentality. I mean, for $200 more you could buy an EL with a 12-100mm Zoom. http://cgi.ebay.com/BOLEX-H16-EL-16MM-W ... dZViewItem I wonder what's wrong with the EL (or with its seller) and is still available! That's a great price indeed for such a camera...

Re: Now here is a difficult one : Fairchild professional 900
No, it's not the cinephonic model. It's the bigger model, the "professional" one :) . I have both of them, purchased from the same seller. Both required recelling of the batteries, both models work now, a little noisy but hey! I don't have any sound 8mm rolls in my fridge :) ! Now, about t...

Now here is a difficult one : Fairchild professional 900
Well, I happen to have this rare 8mm camera. For all that you are not aware of it, the camera is from the early '60s, has a 200ft magazine and can shoot regular8 sound rolls. Yes, R8 with sound. The example I own has even a KII sound roll loaded. My problem is that I can't make the magazine run. Doe...

Hi esoteric Yes, just give me some time, I think I have the German manual somewhere. I'll get back. (Don't get me wrong, I have more than 550 cameras, it's impossible to remember the characteristics of all my cameras...) Bjarne, if you used a sound cart and didn't get any sound then your camera has ...

...and because I'm sure you still don't believe Jim and Roger, look at the written reply I received today (just to make sure  ) from Dwaynes: (I had some other questions as well, about processing of K14 film formats) George, Thank you for your question. There is not anything that we can do dur...

oh my! Oh my! You have lots of BAD SECTORS in your brain... WRONG- push/pull developing is available at Dwayne's, for individual films. Which means, they aren't ALL joined on one big roll. Some are developed straight up- some are push processed- some are pull processed. It all depends on what you wa...

Push/pull processing is not a procedure for old films specifically. You can push/pull a fresh film if you, for example, under/over exposed it. Do you really believe that a crappy kodachrome from the '70s will give better results if you push process it? ASK DWAYNES, NOT ME! You're into a great confus...

Richard, One thing I hate in this life is lies. I really can't stand them. It makes me furious. You say: The thread only serves the purpose to reinforce what most people knew before it anyway, that outdated kodachrome fades with time and isn't worth using after 30 years, and that Dwaynes run an exce...
