I can only agree to Roger. building a machine for 1000 dollar, forget this. the projector you need will be minimum 800 refurbished for regular8 and 500 for super-8 ( working machines ) , the camera starts at minimum 250 , the macro lens at 100 and so on.... so it is easier to buy a complete system w...

Hi Roger congratulation this is now a perfect machine to work with For 2K I can only say, you don´t need it, because the emulsion of the film stops at about 700 - 800 lines. and we testet several cameras with 2k and see no magnificant difference to a HD scan. the movies we get from our customers ...

I dont believe what Kinetta writes . Kodak announced some time ago, that regular8 and super-8 has a technical resolution of 700 lines this would be 720p under laboratory situations. So most of the homemovies are under and overexposed, so that they are not more than 500 lines. If you compare regular8...

Hi, I just contacted the company. The delivery will be anywhere between beginning and the end of february here in europe. The machine needs 20 hours for one 400 feet reel !!!! it takes 2.5 second for every frame compare this to Rogers machine with 4 hours for a 400 feet reel For the scanning you nee...
