Re: Another Pass the cart project?
Nothing happened. This forum to be honest is quite dead as not many people are active at all here anymore. I'm still all in for a pass the cart project but maybe it's better to ignite such a project on another platform than this forum as not many people are active here. Maybe an idea to propose such...

Re: The State of Double Super 8
I finally found a working Elmo c300 combination with magazine somewhere back in march/april. I have shot around 700ft of ds8 fomapan r100 already with it. I was actually planning to use it for my big trip to Japan at the same time the Olympics in Tokyo would be hold. It's too bad that didn't happen....

Re: Ethical Question: Corona
I'm currently actively filming the lock downs and everything around it. Shooting with my Elmo C300 with fomapan r100 Ds8. I've currently shot around 500ft of Ds8 fomapan and 100ft of Ektachrome 7294 about the subject. Nevertheless, it's currently a time I also don't like to be remembered of. This ye...

Finally, I thought the forum would never come back. It's a long time ago.

Re: Another Pass the cart project?
I would be interested in this project, I can contribute with a cart of color reversal film. Anyone interested in passing a cart of single-8 Fujichrome R25N (expired 2007)? I also could contribute with a cart of super8 Cinevia 50D (expired 2014) or maybe Ektachrome 100d (bought in dec 2012) or even E...

Re: opening single-8 cart
I see, thanks aj. I think I will just leave some film peeling out of the other newer carts for reloading, I will try to open the one from yesterday with a thinner razor blade. Just bought some really old ones yesterday from the internet (Fujipan R50 and Fujichrome RT50), I suppose that are the easy...

Re: Capturing Magnetic Super 8 Sound
I've some positive experience with some wild sync experiments I made two years ago for my summer holiday movie. I had stereo sound-striped my film at Fuji (I used single-8) after processing my film by Fuji (I also used Fipra for the rest of my movie, Ektachrome 100d). You can record the sound with y...

opening single-8 cart
Hello, Does anyone knows how to properly open a single-8 cart without breaking it. I tried to open an empty single-8 sound cart (the film was already pulled out for developing but I wanted to open it), but it seems that the only option to open it is to use razor blade as with opening a super-8 cart....

Exposure compensation old Fujichrome R25/RT200
I have some 20-30 years old Fujichrome RT200 and R25 single-8 sound films, I was plannig to overexpose 1-stop for every 10 years. I heard that Fujichrome doesn't need any compensation in exposure, so does old fujichrome single-8 film needs any exposure compensation? Thanks in advance.
