50-16Khz? noway... the best super8 equipment had a frequency resonse of 50Hz - 12 Khz or 14Khz max with s/n ratio at about 40 db. Not that bad, but not very good either...You shouldn't expect much from a mini cassette recorder, buy a good walkman instead (if you are an "analog" type of guy...

1. Online? Probably no! You should buy Juergen's book.
2. In most cass yes, just like the single 8 cartridges.
3. Me, no.
4. Kahl, is a source for straight 8 film, he also develops his stocks.
(5) You can easily find univex cameras on Ebay.com. They are not rare.

The rarest cart I have is a Kodachrome II sound. It must have been in production for less a year back in '74..
Ekta 40? Yes, I believe I have 6 carts in their original boxes somewhere in my fridge.

Hi Andreas The film is at least 30 years old. Yes, in the old times, Ekta was available at 40asa too. I 'm quite sure that the process is the old ME-4. Not many can do it (Frank in the Netherlands can't process it), Martin Baumgarten does process them (I tried him), the results were excellent (for a...

I have some service manuals for the small Nizos (S1, S2, S126 etc) but not for the 156. Only a "parts manual" for this one. I believe though that all small Nizos are similar to each other. Let me know if you are willing to "gamble". I also have all service manuals for the high en...

I don't think there can be much real debate on what was the greatest S-8mm projector ever made... It should be..you can easily find a person selling his Elmo GS 1200 or a Beaulieu 708 EL stereo but with the big Fumeos...that's not the case...no one seems to even thinking of selling his great mashin...

Sorry guys, your cameras are defective...I have 3 moviflexes with the same problem. I tried everything, no cure. The most important problem is that there is no one (?) in this planet who repairs the zeiss cameras. This is the most common fault these cameras develop. I have the service manual (in Ger...

Unfortunately your camera doesn't accept the 64T without modifications. The site you mentioned is correct and the magasine is wrong. I have one in front of me. Just open the film compartment and you will see what films this camera accepts. You can use it though in manual mode, use auto exp, switch b...

NEVER buy an Italian made Super 8 projector. They are almost always truly awful. I can't remember any brand names, I have obviously tried to excise them from my failing memory. xmm...Fumeo maybe? they have the reputation to be the best projectors ever made...(and most expensive of course) I wouldn'...

Well, Anfre, I don't think this is the case with Mr. Schacherl. Most old school techs don't even have a website (not even an e-mail!). Besides, Mr. Schacherl is the only remaining OFFICIAL Braun-Nizo, Bauer repair tech guy. I have heard only the best for his job. Contact the webdesigner... Report th...
