thanks for that one matt. that seems like the best price I've seen. I may have to wait till I've got an hours worth or maybe he'll let me have 30 mins. Man I wish I wasn't broke. it doesn't go with trying to make films.

yeah I guess you're right. If there was someone who had a WP and made an effort like those stills from Andreas' website, I would definitely give that a go but everyone just seems like they are selling themselves to people with old home movies not someone trying to make a half decent film. nope :(

they recommended http://www.Evermedia.co.uk to me but they don;t come cheap.

Does anyone in the UK offer just Workprinter -> DV. I can live without a DVD, background music (at £5 per 10 mins!!!) or VHS copy?

Has anybody ever tried a transfer with these people http://www.cinefilmtovideo.info/ ? from their cryptic description I think they use a work printer - maybe you know roger? I'll mail them and ask. for that price - I'm willing to gamble on the camera's health - I'm actually keep to get inside a camera if it's not working - I'm too scared to fiddle with my functioinal ones.

use Fomapan :) get the 100ft carts of DS8 from wherever, slit it into 4 reloadable kaccemas and voilá! fomapan is beautiful.. :P I planned to do this. I got as far as getting a roll or DS8 fomapan, but I wimped out since I was overseas with no real tools and just swapped it fo a roll of agfachro...

I shot some back around when the first time lapse day was... had it developed and sent it super8reversal lab in the netherlands. I've projected. I mean it is grey and white rather than black and white but I wouldn't day it is useless. I can see almost everything I shot, just a bit to muddy for thing...

I think that for certain styles trannies do give a 'better' sound than tubes. Or at least that's the general consensus. Jazz players for sure seem to prefer solid state.
