use Fomapan :) get the 100ft carts of DS8 from wherever, slit it into 4 reloadable kaccemas and voilá! fomapan is beautiful.. :P I planned to do this. I think that for certain styles trannies do give a 'better' sound than tubes. Or at least that's the general consensus. Jazz players for sure seem to prefer solid state.
