Filmshooting

Mine was done by flash scan too, but to miniDV. I wasn't too keen on the look as it came out very grainy, and your footage was noticeably clearer.

Did you use a lab in the Netherlands?

Brrr! Portugal looks cold now. I was actually there for Christmas, were you in the North? The Algarve was quite warm when I was there.

The footage looks great by the way. The old boats came out really well.

How did you do the telecining, did you choose straight to mini DV?

I'm pretty new to filming, any more detailed information on how to do this woudl be great. Like an example of the which lens and how to cement it, would be fantastic. If you have the time that is.

Ah damn, I don't have the electronic, my 814 is the version before that.

I wonder how the macro function works? I can't see that there would be a way of attaching a different lens to the camera. I wonder if there is a way around this.

Has anyone got any examples of what happens when you shoot Super 8 at a projected Super 8 film?

Is it the same as shooting the TV, would I get odd looking vertical bars? What about if I project the film at 18fps, and shoot it at 24fps?
