Re: Bootsale find: Eumig Mark 501, Manual Available
Hi
bit of a long shot... just got hold of one of these nice and cheap and it seems to work well, but I'd love to get hold of a manual if anyone's got a scan or pics of one handy...
cheers

Re: Hello from FILM Ferrania!
I've just seen that post about Ferrania making a regular 8mm version of their films - put me down for some P30 when that happens, that would be amazing!

Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Here's a nice long interview with Ferrania which explains where they're at and where they're heading...

Surf's up!
Anyone out there into surfing films (i.e. films about surfing, not surfing the net to find films...)?

Nice stuff going on here. The telecine looks really good too... that's how Super 8 should look.

Super 8 article in The Guardian (UK)
A spin-off from the film, of course, but good nonetheless.

The Killing
If anyone has been watching the US version of the Danish TV show, 'The Killing', episode 5 was called 'Super 8' and featured a vital clue / red herring - a film made on Super 8... http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/tvandradioblog/2011/jul/28/the-killing-episode-five (on Channel 4 in the UK) ian
