You COULD do what I once did (once) -- don't enter the decimal point: $7500 for a $75.00 item. 8O
It worked! Whew! Fortunately nobody was willing to overbid $75

Re: RX lenses on non-reflex cameras?
I was told by a very highly regarded pro-tech that it is possible to columate the RX lens to a non-reflex camera, BUT you'd have to re-calibrate the focus scale -- the focus scale on the lens would be inaccurate, and you would have to rely on the topside viefinder/focusing screen.

to follow up...
Yankee brand processing tanks (@ B&H and Adorama, cr. $10-$20) feature reels that collapse to 110/16mm size for 5 foot lengths of film -- run time cr.12 sec @ 16fps -- sounds unbeatable for short test strips :D Sure beats $200 for experimenting purposes.

Re: 16mm plus-x rev. in Diafine?
Plus-X neg. now there's a thought -- the only reason I didn't consider it was the fear it wouldn't stand up to projection, even @ cr. 5fps, but I guess I'll have to give it a go.
Thanks for the tip, alan

Re: 16mm plus-x rev. in Diafine?
Thank you for your kind responses.
Correct, the interest in Diafine arose from minimal control over tempering, no running water (if the 12 volt pump dies) and personal fatigue re. some 25+ years of pro-processing -- retired, I'd like to keep it as simple as possible - of necessity.

16mm plus-x rev. in Diafine?
I'm interested in processing short test strips of 16mm - even single frame exposures - captured on my DIY workprinter. I'm very pleased with the neg. to positive conversion in the video camera,

I'm curious about using DIAFINE developer - has anyone processed plus-x reversal [that's what I've ...

lenses for a rex 3
Pardon if i'm stumbling in where i don't belong, but -- I've read elsewhere, that with lenses of 50mm or shorter on a REX / RX camera you need RX lenses specifically computed for use with the RX prism. Assuming you don't want to worry about always working stopped down -- some say: f2.8, some say: f4.

Experiences with spring driven Beaulieu R.16?
Any observations welcome -- looking for something easy to carry -- as in light weight. I've heard the turrets are fragile.
Anything else to watch out for?
TIA

ebay -- non response
I would request an invoice through ebay's item listing, then sit back and wait. If you don't want to wait forever, there is a message box you could set a limit in -- I think 10 days is standard.
The seller could be away for the holidays true, but non-response is unacceptable in my book.
Cheers ...

black scratches
-- just run film a second, remove cart, pull a little film out the film port & check the backside for scratches with a magnifier, and look for crud [technical term] build up on the plastic pressure plate.

SCRATCHES?
Are they black [base side] or white [emulsion side]?
Was high humidity an issue? Sounds like the supply side is dragging initially -- that shakeing thing might help if the film is sticking/dragging in the cart.
