Repolisan: Someone uses it?
I just bought a little bottle of Repolisan from Tetenal, which is intended to fill scratches in photo negatives. The idea is to use it to restore some Super 8 films that I have and then transfer it to video. Someone of you used this product or a similar? I understood that it´s a kind of varnish, ...

Fred, re. the 64T filtration: Most would recommend the 85B filter -- I found it too orange (Kodak wratten/gellatin). Even filming in open shade it looked much too warm. I'm waiting for a test with the internal 85 filter to return. Of course it could have been a processing error, who knows? As for m...

Ektachrome 64T EPY discontinued?
I´ve just checking out Kodak´s web site and I found that Kodak offers only 3 professional slide films (excepting the new E- Family): KODAK EKTACHROME Professional Infrared EIR Film KODAK EKTACHROME 64 Professional Film (EPR) KODAK EKTACHROME 400X Professional Film (EPL) So what happened to Ekt...

I can recommend you the use of a Siemens 2000 16mm projector for telecine. These old projectors have a selector that allows to change the shutter blades from 3to 2. That allows to transfer film to video in real time to 16.66 fps or 25 fps. There is a version (like mine) that can reproduce magnetic s...

Re: Kahl black and white stocks
Has anyone tried any of them? There's a 10 ISO black and white reversal, plus 100 and 400 ISO black and white negatives plus a 200 ISO black and white reversal which is probably Tri-X. I tried these filmstocks and I really love them!! Orwo UN 54 ISO 64/100 is a very fine grain stock and Orwo N74 IS...

What I don't understand is why they came up with a non T-grain 64T in the first place particularly since I heard it from a Kodak engineer herself that they didn't want to produce a super-8 stock that wasn't going to be available in 16mm and 35mm as well. So they invented a stock that's useless acro...
