Success!! I just picked up my processed 64T from Ralphs. they charged me $3.99(same as Kodachrome) :D Rusty Yes. Didn't know this was a mystery. I did two carts of 64T through Ralphs over a year ago. I just try to support local labs now, despite paying a bit more. But Ralphs is the obvious alternat...

You'll be chasing ambulances next. This is what separates the photographer from the human experience. Realizing you need to shoot to capture the experience while simultaneously ignoring the humanity of the situation. It's a slippery slope to becoming part of the paparazzi. Do you plan to share the ...

I have a microphone that requires a 1.35 volt mercury battery. Would the microphone be functional with a 1.5 volt alkaline battery?

Hey thanks everyone. This has been a lot of help. By John Schwind, are you referring to this? http://members.aol.com/Super8mm/JohnSchwind.html I'm planning on filming parts of a camping trip I'm taking later this summer, so it'll be all outdoors and in bright sunlight. What type of film should I be...

Regular 8 is a great format. I'd recommend using one of those rolls to practice loading the camera(It's a bit tricky at first). Forum member Gianni had a video on how to load a Kodak Brownie. From what I can see you need a Take-up spool to use the camera. I also recommend tossing the second roll of ...
