I know a ton of animation films clock in at 76 minutes, so I just figure 75 is the minimum for something to be seriously referred to as a feature.

It has been reported from MacWorld magazine and other reputable sources that the Mac Mini's warranty will NOT be voided if a customer installs the RAM by him or herself. If they cause damage while doing this, it won't be covered, but your warranty will not voided simply for upgrading your own RAM ...

Yes, and no.
You can use either silent or sound cartridges in a sound camera, but they are different dimensions. So you couldn't fit a sound cartridge in a silent camera, but you can use either in your sound camera.

Hello!

I assume I qualify as a Mac Maniac.
FCE is awesome for the price, but like others have said it comes down to you.

When I was looking at FCE, one thing I noticed (IIRC) was that effects can't be keyframed. That to me was a necessary feature, so I just use Final Cut Pro 3.
For me, I find it ...

7 megabytes is a little better than 90.

Hi everyone!

I decided to post a short clip from my stop-mo film so more people with slower connections could see it. It used to be that you had to download the entire movie which was 90 MBs. But now I've posted a short 7 MB clip from Underground Slavedrivers:

AARGGHH! Blue spots are so annoying! My newest film, Underground Slavedrivers had some scenes nearly ruined by a bunch of those blue spots. Plus, the scenes were kind of dark, so when I tried to brighten them up, the blue spots got brighter and brighter...
I've heard both that they're "water spots ...

I would like to do that- put all 3 movies on one tape. I've done a ton of other stuff too, but those are my 3 "big" movies. Maybe I will do that. If it weren't for a sudden snowstorm I'd be going to the local tape duplicator to discuss making copies and cases for the videos. I hope to have this ...

Thank you!
I made the explosions from the rockets by exporting that part of the movie out as a quicktime to an application called MediaPaint. In there I airbrushed the explosion on each frame, and then exported back out to a dv file.
MediaPaint's a cool program but I'm not sure it's been updated ...

UNDERGROUND SLAVEDRIVERS now online!

Hey! I'm a high school senior who has been working on a stop-motion film for 1 year and 10 months now. I actually posted a clip from this new film over a year ago when that's all I had. Well, now the movie's finished! It's about 15 minutes long, and was shot with K-40. MovieStuff transferred it to ...

What kind of splicer do you have? I had a cement one that worked great and then broke after only a week. I want to get a new one to play with.

I spent a long time trying to find one like that- but never could. So I was going to build my own, but then I decided to just edit on video. I would still love to have one of those though! I suppose you could try to make one by yourself if you wanted.
