Re: Beaulieu 4008/2008 Battery Re-celling

Hi Tom,

Since I can't reach you by mail, PM or reply on the other thread, I try it on this thread.
You offered an recelled battery for a Beaulieu 2008 and I would like to buy it if you still have it.

Re: Beaulieu 4008 & 5008 auto exposure lens compatible?

Although the lens supplied with the original camera was collimated especially for that camera, I used lenses from 4008 on a 5008 and the other way around without any problems.
The Schneider-Kreuznach 6-66 on a 4008 is exactly the same as one on a 5008.
The same for the 6-70 and the Angenieux 6-80.

Re: beaulieu 2008s

The Beaulieu 2008 has a 4.8V battery instead of the 7.6V battery the 4008 uses.

Re: Bolex EBM vs EL : any input on the better cam?

An EBM isn't really a good "point and shoot" camera, because the shutter stops at random. That means each time you stop the camera, a frame might get fogged. The EL has a built-in lightmeter, but you still have to set the aperture yourself. But if you don't mind these fogged frames and don...

Re: fujica ZC 1000 single 8 camera for swap

I noticed the Canon 518 SV single-8 is sold to "isteee" for GBP 128,-. This new eBay member with 0 feedback / purchases comes from.... Hungary, just like you. How many small format collectors are there in Hungary? There's something smelly about this auction. Also because you didn't mention...

Hi Paul, I had many camera's repaired by GK-Film, also a Bauer 715 with a slightly loose lens. They repaired, cleaned, serviced and readjusted all my camera's very well. But as we all know Gotfried Klose is a very busy man and it can take some time before you will have your camera returned. There ar...

If I remember correctly it's Ruud Molleman from Amsterdam who makes those 16mm loop devices for Eiki slotloads. I have his adress and phone no. but you can also contact Jean Pierre Sens from Supersens (http://www.supersens.nl). He knows Ruud very well. I also happen to have a super-8 continous loop ...

I have to admit I once did.
I even shot a complete cartridge with a closed shutter.
