Filmshooting

Is anyone getting 720P or 1080i scans done? Its hard to tell much about the resolution and grain of these stocks in SD frame grabs.

Looks like jitter free super-8. A cool look if that's what you were going for, but personally I would be dissapointed by the softness of this if I had gone to the trouble of shooting 16mm.

Super-8 Cities Barcelona is now on 4Docs. This is a very short cut and particularly for this film, the longer version is MUCH better. Wonder what camera he used? They must have been shot at about 20 megapixels + considering the dimensions of reproductions he is selling.

While in Scotland I found a little camera shop near Edinburgh castle selling E64T for £10 - process paid!

I like the sound of the cameras and lenses that can shoot dramatic aspect ratios from 2:1 to 4:1

Nuri Bilge Ceylan has done a lot of this cinemascope photography, although Im not sure what workflow he used to get his dimensions:
