I'm really satisfied with my results from Cinelab in Boston, MA. They process it daily so I got my results back fast let alone the whole thing cost $10. Thats mentioned in "the lab" section on this page so I'm not sure if that means its the cheapest around or what. but I think they did wel...

Jeez this is good to know I've been paying full price when I could've been using a student discount. Once again the boards prove their worth, let alone the format. You just can't get this service or care that Kodak gives to the customers

I agree with Star Wars or some other hi-tech movies shot on super 8 just for the whole challenge to it but I do believe anything is possible with all the equipment we have available in our hands today. As long as its decent and the story gets through thats what matters.

Thanks now I'll help you, a number 25 red filter darkens the sky so you can see the clouds or any other light/white things (snow, buildings, i wish i had one on me with all the snow around...) and underexposing gives a moonlight effect. It lightens red and yellows, darkens blues and greens, so sayet...

Oh man thanks, I should've explain a lil more. See the film carts are from 1980 and don't want to get my hopes upon it and spend more money than need be but hey, your reply made me remember that Cinelab processes b&w s8 right near me. So I get the convience still atleast.

Tri-x Processing

Has anybody tried to get tri-x developed at Wal-mart? I'm trying to see if I could save some money and recently got two carts of this stuff with a camera and wondering if I should use it or sell it. Thanks.

He also sells 2 kodachrome 40 for around $25-27 on ebay plus $5 or so odd dollars shipping and handling. I bought something else from him and he gave me his prices for in store and it was much cheaper.
