How did it turn out?

Great thread! I settled on Yahsica, Minette and Zeiss. They all have issues, but these work best for me.

I am a still photog and new to movies. Somehow I managed to acquire a few hundred 8mm and 16mm films from the 1930's to 1960's. I will eventually have them on Mp4 and hi res individual scanned Tiff files.

What kind of basic video software should I buy that can add titles, add projector noise and ...

I'm using Edwal.
