Great thread! I settled on Yahsica, Minette and Zeiss. They all have issues, but these work best for me.

I am a still photog and new to movies. Somehow I managed to acquire a few hundred 8mm and 16mm films from the 1930's to 1960's. I will eventually have them on Mp4 and hi res individual scanned Tiff files.

That vacation video sample mentioned above looked pretty nice. I'm new to film transfers. I am a still photog and got into 8mm and 16mm by chance. Now I got tone of films to archive. Some of them are from the 30's and having VS issues.
